was organized in 1958 and became a member of the Midwest Federation in 1963.
We are a 501 c3 Non-Profit Organization. We follow the Midwest Federation Guidelines when collecting.
Our Mission:
To stimulate interest and promote the advancement of science of geology for the membership and the communities of the membership, to encourage the professional and social relationship of members and to provide a meeting for the presentation and discussion of subjects of mutual interest.
We are open to both Adults and Children.

Membership:
- Any person interested in Lapidary, Mineralogy, Geology, or any of the related subjects may become a member.
- Application, accompanied by the proper fee, shall be given to the Secretary or Treasurer.
- 2017 Membership fee is $15 per year per family or single person.
- Opportunities to suggest topics and help frame programs
- Opportunities to vote on activities (e.g. field trips, films, and seminars)
- Opportunities to participate in public school programs
- Early notification of special lectures on topics of interest
- Newsletter and special Bulletins. The Hammer is published at least quarterly and sent via email or regular mail.
- The choice to participate in our Summer Swap at a reduced rate, and be in the silent auction at the Fall Show.
- Location St Michael’s Episcopal Church - 4701 Erie Street, Racine WI at 7:00PM.
Doors are open after 6:40. Visitors are welcome to our meetings before deciding to join our organization.
